Sign up: EVENING 10 mile TT Series – 5th May 2021

Wednesday Night TT announcement 🎙

For this season we will only be using the P459 Gallows Hill course.

Bulbury Golf course has been very accommodating for many years but due to an increase in their membership, they no longer have spare car parking space.

We’ve taken the decision to hold our Wednesday evening TT on the popular Gallows Hill course only.

This is a great course for beginners and experienced alike! and now a great way to hone your TT skills for the open events and road racing!

Club events and group rides UPDATE

Last week (8th July) the committee discussed the potential of restarting club events including social and group rides, TTs and Track sessions.

After discussing the options and reviewing the current guidelines and restrictions, many people within the club who are key to these events and rides taking place, are not currently comfortable to restart club events at this moment in time.

The committee are in constant contact with each other and are due to revisit the restrictions at the end of July and will give you an update thereafter.

We appreciate everyone is keen to reinstate the club events, however we feel there is a big ask on the personal to put these events on. We pride ourselves on being a social club and with the restrictions and logistics to follow, these restrict and hinders the enjoyment of these types of events. Please bear with us and we will let you know as soon as possible of any developments going forward.

In the meantime, happy cycling, stay safe and we look forward to catching you all again soon!

On behalf of PWCC committee

Covid-19 – All Club activities postponed until further notice

Hi Everyone

In view of the current ongoing situation with the covid-19 virus outbreak we feel it is the correct and appropriate course of action to follow government advice and guidelines.

Therefore from immediate effect we are postponing all Poole Wheelers’ group activities (this includes club rides, training rides, roller sessions and time trials) until further notice.

This is for everyone’s own health and safety and not for any other reason.

If you do choose to go out and ride your bike please adhere to up to date government advice and guidelines.

Keep healthy

Regards
