Firstly, a big thanks to those who helped run the TT today: the timekeeping team of Ros, Marcy, and Matt, and our three marshals Lauren, Pep, and Chris πŸ™Œ Photography today from Seren at Wool Roundabout and Phillip Standfield at Woolbridge πŸ“Έ they should be published on our facebook page today and Monday.

Glorious sunshine blessed today’s TT, but coupled with an omnidirectional wind (thank you, Joe, for the description!), it made for a gruelling few miles back to the finish line.

Ride of the day has to go to Robbie Fall. For most, forgetting their cycling shoes would’ve been reason enough to decide the cycling gods were not on their side and bin off the TT. But Robbie was undeterred! Crossing the finish line in his hiking shoes, he powered his way to a PB of 23:33 πŸ‘Š Looking forward to seeing how much quicker he goes at the first Wednesday TT!

Overall, Brett continued where he left off last season, winning the road bike category with a very strong 21:45.

On the TT bikes, Henry Austin set a solid early-season benchmark of 21:56.

Fastest lady, also picking up where she left off last season, was Michelle Lindley with 25:56.

Top rides from Jasmine Bailey and Andy Pickettβ€”both racing the Monkey World TT for the first time, setting 31:17 and 24:24 respectively. Definitely some signs of very quick times ahead!

Thanks everyone for racing. Our first Wednesday Time Trial is on 9th April. All welcome to join! See you all in a few weeks.
