PW TT 30/04 – The Results 🏁

Firstly, a big thank you to those who gave up their time to make sure the TT could run! Ros Spencer and Suzy Watkins for timekeeping, and our incredible marshals: Chris Hill, Andy Haas, and Julia Terry 🙏

I’d say tonight was probably the warmest early-season TT we’ve had! Although there was a divisive south-easterly wind—perfect for those wanting a push up Puddletown Road, but it made for a bit of a slog along the bottom straight 🤷‍♂️

It was definitely quick for some!

Firstly, the PBs:

Jasmine Bailey broke the sub-30 barrier (29:57) for the first time and took 90 seconds off her PB 🙌
James Rowat has been in incredible early-season form, today taking 30 seconds off his course best (23:29).
Will Terry, only 12, was flying around the course—so much so, the timekeepers nearly missed him as he stormed across the line! He’s now nearly a minute quicker than last year, setting a 25:31.
There were also PBs for Robbie Fall (23:18) and Joe Turner (24:27). Chapeau 🎩

There were most likely others—sorry if I missed you!

Top Times:

Brett Wheeler continued his great form with the quickest time of the night: 21:14 🥇
Not too far back was ultra racer turned TT rider (for the night) Angus Young with a rapid 21:54 🥈
Rounding out the podium was runner and doughnut influencer Matt Stanbury with an impressive 22:41 🥉

Quickest Female on a Road Bike:

Emma Needham – 27:08, narrowly beating course debutant Roanna Warren, who set a 27:31.

TT Bikes – A tight battle for the top spots:

Returning to racing, Alex Rowling 🥇 pipped Robbie Fall 🥈 for the quickest time, setting 23:06 and 23:14 respectively.
Not too far behind was James Rowat 🥉 with 23:29.
