A big thank you to those who gave up their time to make sure the TT could run! Ros Spencer and Suzy Watkins for timekeeping, and our incredible marshals: Rufus King, Pete Watkins, and Julia Terry π
Great to see so many new faces and a few returning to the TTs tonight. Not the wall-to-wall sunshine I had promised but only some high-level clouds and light winds made for a good evening of racing and even a slight tailwind up Puddletown Road to help with the push to the line.
Firstly….
A shout out to those new to racing around our Monkey World TT course. On the Road bikes, Ryan Austin and Ross Nichols hopefully started a friendly rivalry, setting times of 31:40 & 33:45. Sarah Wood set a great first time of 35:10.
On TT bikes, Oliver Edwards podiumed on his first outing, setting a rapid 23:39. and Matt Doe from A3CRG set a 25:06 to finish 5th overall.
I hope Puddletown Road is not going to haunt your sleep!
