Last night was a proper Hill Climb, the peak shrouded in mist and multiple cowbells yielding supporters filling every nook on the Hill 🐮🔔

Thanks to all of the supporters for coming out! Congratulations to Matt Stanbury for taking the quickest time on the night. Flying up in 2:32.1 🚀

Close behind were the two TT fast men of Sam Wadsley 🥈 with 2:36.0 and Alex Rowling 🥉 with 2:39.6

Incredibly the fastest women was a dead tie between Maddie Verdegaal & Alison Dockney, both recording rapid times of 3.25.1. Strava comparisons show Maddie got off to a cracking start 16secs ahead at the 300m mark, but Alison slower clawed that time back up to the line! All to play for in the 3rd and final round

Shout out to Robbie Fall with the most improved time taking 14 seconds off his previous best 💪

This year we have 3 hill climbs. The winner of the championship is the best 2 combined times.

Matt’s incredible time has moved him to first in the standings 🏆 But with some riders yet to post a 2nd time, the final race on the 1st of October is set to be spicy as riders battle to be crowned PW hill climb champion 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Next week we are back to our usual TTs on the P459 (Gallows Hill / Monkey World course).
