Firstly, a huge thank you to those who helped get the event on! Pep, Zena and Andy Haas kept everything running smoothly on the course as our marshalls, while Ros and Marcy had the all important stopwatch duties πŸ™Œ Sorry I don’t think we got pictures tonight. But Phil Standfield will be back out soon!

Road Bikes

In form from his trip to Mallorca was Brett Wheeler, flying around in a blistering 22:08, fastest road bike time of the evening. Next up, separated by a mere two seconds Tim Flynn (23:33) and Andy Pickett (23:35).

Congratulation to Daisy Harper-Brown, narrowly making the line in time then setting quickest female on a road bike with 26:36 πŸ™Œ

New to the course, and certainly set to go quicker were a cluster of riders, James MacGregor, Josh Harvey, and James McKay all squeezed into the 24s, with a trio of 24:35, 24:48, and 24:57 respectively.

TT Bikes

It was Mark Valentine leading the charge again, posting a superb 22:50 and looking very at home back on the TT machine before his bid for gold in the Para World Championships!

Next up were James Rowat (24:04) and Nathan Wilmington (24:06)

The ever consistent and long distance specialist Michelle Lindley was fastest female on the TT bikes with 26:14, showing great early season form.

That’s it for this week! Thanks to everyone who raced, volunteered and spectated. The season’s off to a quick startβ€”see you next week, new time 7pm, same course. Bring gloves… just in case β„οΈπŸ€πŸš΄β€β™€οΈβ˜€οΈ
