A massive congratulations to @tommycycles from VC Venta for his remarkable victory at this morningβs Portmore Classic!
The Portmore Classic delivered an exciting day of racing under challenging conditions, as strong winds played a major role throughout the event. Despite several attempts to break away, the blustery weather kept the peloton together for most of the race. Riders found it difficult to gain a decisive advantage, setting the stage for a high-paced sprint finish. Tommy Stroud of Velo Club Venta proved to be the strongest on the day, powering to victory in the final dash. Sam Beaton of Plymouth Corinthians claimed second place, with Cian Bryant from Bristol RC rounding out the podium in third. It was a safe and enjoyable day of racing, with all competitors showing great resilience against the tough conditions.
