The wind was dropping by the time we got to rider no.1, with the whole course feeling like a cross wind.Β Some riders put in some incredible rides.
Ride of the day!
Somehow fresh from his 100 mile ride at the weekend, Dan Branford took over 2 minutes off his PB!Β Well done Dan, that is a monster of a ride π©
Road Bikes
- Brett Wheeler, despite racing at Thruxton in the pouring rain last night last night π§οΈ Brett set the quickest Road Bike time of 21:21π₯
- The incredible ride by Dan Branford earned him a well deserved 2nd placeπ₯
- Rounding out the podium, and narrowly behind Dan was Tim Flynn with an impressive 23:28 π₯
Quickest Female on a Road Bike:
- New Forest / PW rider Beverley Hards flew around the course tonight, takign 30 seconds of her previous weeks time!Β Β β 26:45
TT BikesΒ
- Despite having some bad luck with a puncture, Harry made the start line and cooly set the quickest time for the TT bikes with a quick 23:25 π₯
- The next three riders were only separated by 10 seconds! Robbie Fall, could have taken second, but lady luck was not on his side and dropped his chain 100 metres from the finsih, his time of 24:28 was good enough for fourth. Lee Chalk came quickest of the trio with a 24:18, narrowly beating Alex Rowling by 2 seconds!
Quickest Female Time:
- The ever quick Michelle Lindley took the quickest time with a 25:34. Alice Sullivan was not too far behind and may soon be challenging Michelle for the top spot!Β She set a season best of 25:57.

We had 3 photographers on course tonight! Phil Standfield was back, Seren Jones was positioned at the top of puddletown road only 500 metres from the finish, and the legendary John Pick was also out. Once the photos are ready, i’ll share them here and they’ll also be on the club facebook page.
