Results from busy race weekend, 25-26th March
It was a busy weekend for Poole Wheelers to kick off the racing season proper. Some great results in both local and national races!
Saturday we also had the first club cluster track session at the Bournemouth Cycling Centre, and our regular Saturday and Sunday morning social rides were well attended as always. Check out our Facebook group for more photographs and race updates.

Icebreaker Youth and Junior Series Round 3 2017
There was the last of the Newport Icebreaker track events as well. Digby Llewellyn and Oli Pettifer were racing in the under-12’s, Charlotte Kelly was racing in the under-14s and Tom Day in the under-16’s. As usual great racing by all, with a fantastic attack off the front by Oli with 2 laps to go in the points race – it didn’t stick, but it certainly got the excitement levels up!
National Youth Circuit Series
Some impressive riding from Jamie and Lucy on Sunday at the National Youth Circuit Series at Redbridge Cycling Centre. Great attacks from Jamie in U14 boys and finished in front group and 9th place for Lucy in U16 girls.
