Entries now open for the 2018 Poole Wheelers Youth Omnium

You can now register your entry for the Poole Wheelers Youth Omnium, scheduled for Saturday 19th May at Bournemouth Cycling Centre.

The event is part of the National Youth Track Omnium (Group 6) series. Entry fee is £15 for U8 and U10 categories (Not Part of Area Competition), and £17.50 for U12, U14, and U16 (boys and girls categories for each). You register via the British Cycling website. Entries close Friday 11th May 2018.

Entry fee includes £5 day charge for membership to Bournemouth Cycle Centre (BCC).

New system for annual membership to BCC to go live prior to 1st April 2017. Any rider with annual membership on race day will receive a £5 refund on the day. Please bring proof of membership to the Omnium.

Please note that this event will be using transponders. A £20 refundable deposit will be required on the day.

Poole Wheelers Youth Omnium, 13th May 2017

The sun is shining down on the Poole Wheelers Youth Omnium, providing perfect conditions for the 78 riders competing today.

Provisional results are updated continuously on the results page. Official results will be published on the British Cycling website once verified.

Update: Poole Wheelers Youth Omnium entries close 29th April

Its getting close now to the Poole Wheelers youth Omnium on the 13th May. Entries close on 29th April.

With over 60 entries so far it is set to be a great event, closing date is the 29th April so there is still time to get your entries by visiting the British Cycling website. The website also has names of those who have registered so far, so you can see if your friends are riding too!

The under 16 and under 14 categories are looking strong but under 8, 10 and 12 could do with a few more riders. There are generous cash prizes up for grabs for the under 16 and under 14, prizes to third place for under 12, 10 and 8, and trophies for top 3 riders in all categories.
